At Peekaboo Psychology we understand that mental health support is crucial and we strive to make our services as accessible as possible.  The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends a fee of $311 for a 46–60 minute consultation for the 2024–2025 financial year.

You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. In Australia, eligible individuals may be able to claim a rebate of $141.85 for psychological services through the Medicare Better Access initiative. Under this program, individuals with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHPT) from their GP or psychiatrist can receive Medicare-funded rebates of $141.85 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a registered clinical psychologist.

If you have private health insurance, your plan may cover some or all of the costs of psychological services. The amount reimbursed varies by insurer and policy. We encourage you to check with your provider to understand your specific coverage.

If you have a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan, you may be able to access psychology support. We encourage you to check with your support coordinator, plan manager or local area coordinator.
